Antoine Vermette wants to prove that he is a valuable addition to the Chicago Blackhawks' lineup.
The forward, who came to Chicago in a trade from the Arizona Coyotes prior to March's deadline, put the Blackhawks on top of the Tampa Bay Lightning with his fourth goal of the postseason, cleaning up after a Kris Versteeg breakaway.
The third period goal put Chicago out in front of Tampa 2-1.
