The past, the present, and the future of the NHL posed for an iconic photo Tuesday.
Wayne Gretzky, Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby, and projected number-one pick Connor McDavid were all in Toronto Tuesday where the three men formed what could be the greatest hypothetical forward line in hockey history.

The meeting comes after McDavid told Don Cherry on CBC's Coach's Corner Monday that his favorite player is Crosby.
The guy in the middle is pretty good too.
