Even in the Czech Republic, more money can lead to more problems, especially when it's acquired illegally.
Vladimir Ruzicka, head coach of the Czech Republic's national team, has reportedly resigned from his position after allegedly bribing parents of players to sway their kids to play for Slavia Praha, a club he coaches and co-owns.

The 52-year-old was a fourth-round draft selection of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft, and played 233 games in the NHL before returning to the Czech Republic as a player.
He began his coaching career in 2000-2001 with Slavia Praha.
Ruzicka has been a success with the national team, winning a gold medal as a player at the 1998 Nagano Olympics, as well as gold medals as a coach at the World Championship in 2005 and 2010.
