Canadiens' Gonchar wants to play 1 more season in the NHL

He may not be the dynamic player he once was, but Sergei Gonchar is not ready to hang up the skates just yet.
The 41-year-old defenseman is hoping to play one more season in the NHL, according to TVA Sports' Renaud Lavoie.
Where he will play seems to be the million-dollar question. During the team's end-of-year press conference, Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin told reporters the team wouldn't re-sign Gonchar.
The blue-liner will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
Gonchar had just one goal and 14 points split between the Canadiens and the Dallas Stars during the regular season.
