The Minnesota Wild and goaltender Devan Dubnyk will reportedly sit down to try and work out a contract, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
"The Minnesota Wild and Dubnyk will sit down with his agent this week to talk to see if they can work out a contract with the goalie who had a great second half of the year," said Friedman during Hockey Night in Canada.
Dubnyk was acquired by the Wild from the Arizona Coyotes during a season where he put up incredible numbers with Minnesota. The 29-year-old went 27-9-2 with a .936 save percentage and a 1.78 goals against average in 39 games.
He helped the Wild make it to the second round of the playoffs and was named a nominee for the Vezina Trophy.
