Jaromir Jagr is turning the Czech Republic into a team of destiny at the 2015 IIHF World Championship.

Jagr scored two goals and added an assist to lift the host Czechs over Finland 5-3 in the quarterfinals Thursday. The 43-year-old collected the puck behind Finland's net and beat Pekka Rinne on the short side for the winning goal - his team-leading sixth of the tournament - with 4:30 remaining in the third period.

Jagr's goal to put Czech's up 4-3 was best, but woooooof Pekka Rinne

The Czechs, who are looking to improve on last year's fourth-place finish by earning their first medal since 2012, will face undefeated Canada on Saturday in the semifinals. Jagr was limited to one assist when the Canadians defeated the Czech Republic 6-3 during the preliminary round.
