Finland got past Russia 3-2 in a shootout Tuesday, but it was a save by goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky in overtime that sent things to the skills competition.

With just over 1:30 left on the clock, Florida Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov picked up a pass in the slot and had the Columbus Blue Jackets netminder at his mercy, or so he thought.

Bobrovsky reached in desperation to get a piece on the shot that was destined for the back of the net.

Incredible goaltending by Sergei Bobrovsky to force a shootout. Not bad @BlueJacketsNHL #IIHFWorlds

With the win, Finland finishes the round robin in second spot in Group B, just ahead of Russia.
