Blackhawks' Crawford on Game 4 finish: 'It almost entered best comebacks of all time'

Marilyn Indahl / USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Blackhawks are on their way to the Western Conference final, but they sure made their fans' hearts jump during the conclusion of Thursday night's contest.

The Minnesota Wild almost completed a comeback from 4-1 down and had a shot at the tying goal in the final seconds.

After an empty-net goal by Marian Hossa, the series seemed secure.

The Wild, however, weren't going to go home quietly, putting the game within reach thanks to late-period goals from Jason Pominville and Nino Niederreiter.

But Corey Crawford and the Blackhawks managed to hold on as the final slew of action came their way, securing the 4-3 victory.

Chicago awaits the winner of the series between the Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames.
