Wild's Yeo on Game 2: 'I don't know what team played that game tonight, but it wasn't us.'
The Minnesota Wild aren't happy with their Game 2 performance against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Head coach Mike Yeo - who sounded confident coming into Sunday's contest - didn't like what he saw from his squad.
"I don't know what team played that game tonight, but it wasn't us," said the coach postgame. "I think we were focused on the goal, focused on the win, and not focused on the things we needed to do.
"It was not personnel. It was a between-the-ears thing."
The Wild were on the wrong half of a 4-1 defeat against the Blackhawks, which sends them home to Minnesota down in the series by two games.
With wins coming at a premium, Yeo think his squad needs to think differently entering Game 3.
"Our confidence is not shaken. We have to treat it like a Game 7 now," continued the coach. "I still think we're going to win the series."
