Connor McDavid took short-handed literally on his latest highlight-reel goal.
The presumptive first-overall selection for June's NHL Draft only needed one hand to extend the Erie Otters' lead over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds while killing a penalty on Sunday.
McDavid took off on a breakaway and froze the Greyhounds netminder with a shot fake before sliding the puck in with one hand, pulling off a Forsberg deke like St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko did during the NHL season.
McDavid has eight points (six goals, two assists) through the first seven periods of the OHL Western Conference final.
