Todd Richards named USA coach for World Championships

Todd Richards will get some extra coaching work in this summer.
The Columbus Blue Jackets bench boss has been named head coach of USA's team at the upcoming IIHF World Championships, and he'll have a former foe by his side.
Dan Bylsma and Greg Carvel will be Todd Richards' assistants for U.S. at worlds.

Richards and Bylsma squared off during the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs when the latter was still employed by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Richards has 204 wins as an NHL head coach with Columbus and Minnesota. This tournament will mark his first as a coach at the international level.
