Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price has held a large consensus amongst hockey fans this season that he deserves the Hart Trophy as the most valuable player, and it seems many NHL coaches agree.
TSN's hockey insider Bob McKenzie released the results of a poll he conducted with 20 NHL coaches, 10 from the Eastern Conference and 10 from the West.
In his poll, all 20 coaches believed that Price was the odds on favorite to be named the league's most valuable player.
Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin was the consensus runner-up, but no player other than Price received first-place nominations.
The NHL Awards will take place on June 24 in Las Vegas.
