Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Dan Vladar is day-to-day after sustaining an upper-body injury during Tuesday's preseason game against the Boston Bruins, head coach Rick Tocchet said, according to The Hockey News' Siobhan Nolan.
Vladar "dodged a bullet" and is in good spirits, Tocchet said Wednesday.
The Czech netminder appeared to favor his right arm after a collision in front of the net.

The Flyers signed Vladar to a five-year, $27.5-million extension this offseason after he enjoyed a career year with a .906 save percentage in 52 appearances in 2025-26. He was excellent in the playoffs, recording a .922 save percentage in 10 games while helping the Flyers reach the second round.
