VIDEO: Bishop scribes his name in Lightning record books with assists to Namestnikov, Drouin
Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop isn't a stranger to earning points.
Prior to Monday's contest against the Montreal Canadiens the netminder had two assists.
He decided to go out and get some more, beginning with this gorgeous feed to begin the rush on a goal by Vladislav Namestnikov.
Bishop would add his second assist of the game three and a half minutes later on a Jonathan Drouin goal, adding himself to the Lightning's record books.

To say that the Lightning have gotten a ton of value from Bishop in his time with the team is an understatement.
2 years ago, Tampa acquired Ben Bishop from Ottawa for Cory Conacher. Bishop has more points this season than Conacher. Bishop is a goalie.
