Analysis:

Coach Ken Hitchcock didn't seem to think that Oshie's illness was particularly severe, so the winger will rest up over the afternoon with the hope that it will allow him to suit up later in the evening. His availability or potential absence should be confirmed based on pregame warmups, which will be conducted about a half hour prior to the 8:00 ET puck drop.
