Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Steve Mason denied Max Talbot his first goal with the Boston Bruins with an improbable stick save in the first period of Saturday's game.
Talbot had a wide-open opportunity at the edge of the crease after Mason was unable to handle the rebound off Daniel Paille's shot, but Mason recovered to reach back and knock Talbot's backhand shot clear with his stick before it could cross the goal line.
