Henrik Zetterberg wasted no time in making an impact in his return to the Detroit Red Wings' lineup.

Out of the lineup since Feb. 21 with an upper-body injury, Zetterberg helped his club open the scoring in Wednesday's game against the New York Rangers, sending a picture-perfect no-look backhand pass to Justin Abdelkader, who directed the puck into the net.

The play was reviewed to ensure the goal was not scored on a clear kicking motion, but the call stood and Zetterberg was rightly credited with his 35th assist.
