Oilers earn 1st regulation road win in 3 months

Nail Yakupov and Oscar Klefbom scored goals and Ben Scrivens only needed to make 13 saves as the Edmonton Oilers edged the New Jersey Devils 2-1 at the Prudential Center in Newark on Monday.
The Oilers won a regulation contest away from Rexall Place for the first time since Nov. 9, when they defeated the New York Rangers 3-1 at Madison Square Garden.
Edmonton won three games by way of the shootout during that span, including back-to-back shootout victories last month.
Scrivens earned his first road win of the season, and the 14 shots he faced were a season-low for the club.
The Oilers are now 5-0-5 in New Jersey since 1997.
