Adam Larsson has arisen from his sick bed.

The New Jersey Devils defenseman, sidelined since Dec. 2 with mumps, participated in the team's morning skate in advance of Wednesday's game against the Ottawa Senators.

He skated on the club's fourth pairing, meaning he may not be ready to jump back into the lineup quite yet.

Larsson is one of 15 NHLers to contract the virus in recent weeks.

He recorded one goal and three assist in 17 games before falling ill.
