The Tampa Bay Lighting may have lost more than their second game in a row Monday in Pittsburgh.

Goaltender Ben Bishop was forced out of the Lightning's 4-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins after the first period, falling prey to what is currently being labeled as a lower-body injury.

Head coach Jon Cooper indicated Bishop is set to be re-evaluated, but unlikely to suit up for Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

“Right away he said he couldn't go,’’ Cooper told the Tampa Tribune. “It’s tough because he is a big part of our team ... We play in less than 24 hours, he pulled himself out, so it’d be pretty hard to go in less than 24 hours."

As a result, the club announced the recall of Andrei Vasilevski from the AHL's Syracuse Crunch.

The Lightning have lost four of their past five games, and can ill afford to lose their number one goalie for any length of time.

Bishop posted a record of 16-6-2 with a .913 save percentage through 26 games.
