Dano's recent offensive struggles resulted in him being a healthy scratch Friday night, a trend that likely would have persisted had he remained with the Blue Jackets. The organization determined it was best for the 19-year-old's development to play regularly, so he'll head to the minors in order to show the flashes of scoring aptitude that he displayed in training camp and over the first few games of the regular season. Dana Tyrell was recalled from Springfield to take Dano's spot on the 23-man roster.
