For the second time in the same game, a member of the New York Rangers has been ejected for a dangerous hit on a Minnesota Wild player.
At the 7:12 mark of the second period, Rangers defenseman John Moore was assessed a match penalty for a blindside elbow to the head of Wild forward Erik Haula.
A match penalty brings with it an automatic review from the Department of Player Safety.
John Moore's head hit on Erik Haula will be carefully reviewed. He was given a match penalty for attempt to injure and is a repeat offender.

Haula spent a few moments on the ice and had to be helped to the locker room. He did not return for the start of the third period.
