There was an explosive moment during an Ontario Hockey League game Friday in Ottawa.
Niagara Ice Dogs defenseman Mitchell Fitzmorris took 67s rookie forward Travis Barron hard into the boards, resulting in the kind of broken glass typically reserved for video games.
67s head coach Jeff Brown said Barron - a promising youngster - was "perhaps our best player" in the first half of the game, according to Neate Sager of Buzzing The Net.
Thankfully, Barron was able to return to the ice and finish the game.
