VIDEO: Canadiens' Tinordi ejected after hard hit on Capitals' Schmidt

Montreal Canadiens defensive prospect Jarred Tinordi is trying to make a good impression at training camp, while also looking to crack the regular-season lineup on a permanent basis.
He didn't do himself any favors during Sunday's preseason game against the Washington Capitals, however, as he received two five-minute major penalties for elbowing defenseman Nat Schmidt and subsequently fighting forward Chris Brown.
Tinordi was also assessed a game misconduct.
Schmidt skated off the ice right after the hit, but did pass the NHL concussion protocol and was in the locker room with the rest of the team after the game, as per Alex Prewitt of the Washington Post.
Nevertheless, the Department of Player Safety is likely to give this incident a look.
