Detroit Red Wings head coach Mike Babcock isn't worried about his contract expiring at the end of the season, he's focused on the upcoming season and is confident he'll be behind the bench with the Red Wings past this season.
"I'm not selling my house or anything like that. Living in the same place. Life's good for me," he told USA Today.
"If we get something done in September, great," said Babcock.
After 10 years with the Red Wings - and making the playoffs in each of those years - Babcock isn't sweating an expiring contract.
"We'll find a way to work something out over time, but I'm not all wound up about this one bit. I'm real comfortable."
