Lightning sign goalie prospect Andrei Vasilevski to 3-year, entry-level contract

The Tampa Bay Lightning signed goalie prospect Andrei Vasilevski to a three-year, entry-level contract, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced via the team's official website.
The 19-year-old was drafted 19th overall in 2012, and posted a career record of 18-9-5 with a 2.21 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage with four shutouts in 36 KHL games with Salavat.
He also represented his native Russia in each of the previous three IIHF U-20 World Junior Championships, winning a silver medal in 2012 and bronze medals in 2014 and 2013.
Vasilevskii is expected to play for the Lightning's AHL affiliate in Syracuse in 2014-15.
