A strange scene resulted during the third period of Tuesday night's Pittsburgh Penguins blowout of the Montreal Canadiens.
Following a scrum at the Penguins goalmouth, netminders Marc-Andre Fleury and Peter Budaj (who had replaced Carey Price in the second frame) attempted to have a engage one another in a good old-fashioned, goalie fight.
The on-ice officials, however, had other ideas. As Fleury and Budaj attempted to skate down the ice and fight, the referees acted like the Yeti in "SkiFree" and prevented them from getting past their respective blue-lines. Here's Fleury attempting to dodge the referee (he was unsuccessful):
