Hoover was 12-for-22 passing for 263 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 20-17 victory over Nebraska. He also had five rushes for 24 yards.
Analysis:It was a tough day for Hoover and the Hoosiers through three quarters, as they were held to just two field goals heading into the fourth period, but things changed in a hurry. The 6-foot-2 senior connected with receiver Nick Marsh on a pair of long touchdowns in the fourth, from 75 and 44 yards out, respectively, to complete the comeback victory over the Cornhuskers. Hoover still has yet to turn the ball over this season, throwing for 1,364 yards and 17 touchdowns through six games. A premium matchup against Ohio State awaits on Saturday.
