Petry has five points and a minus-13 rating through 20 games this season.
Due in large part to horrible goalie play from Devan Dubnyk and Jason LaBarbera, Petry's abysmal minus-13 rating ranks last among defensemen and would be the worst in the NHL if not for the poorer marks of teammates Nail Yakupov, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Ales Hemsky. The rating isn't likely to improve anytime soon and may continue to sabotage Petry's otherwise serviceable two goals, three assists and 22:13 TOI per game.
