Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Erik Karlsson is dealing with a lower-body injury and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, the team announced Tuesday.
Karlsson logged 23:12 in Pittsburgh's most recent game, a 1-0 loss to the Boston Bruins on Saturday. It's unclear how or when he get hurt.
Tuesday's matchup with the Tampa Bay Lightning will be the first time Karlsson has missed a game since joining the Penguins in 2023.
