Jets' Stanley suspended 1 game for punching unsuspecting Tkachuk
The NHL's Department of Player Safety suspended Winnipeg Jets defenseman Logan Stanley one game Sunday for sucker-punching Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk.
Stanley delivered a bare-knuckle punch to an unsuspecting Tkachuk during Saturday's game.

Stanley was assessed two minor penalties on the play for roughing and removing an opponent's helmet. Tkachuk received a 10-minute misconduct.
Calgary Flames forward John Beecher was also suspended one game for a similar play earlier Sunday.
Stanley is in the midst of a career year with seven goals and 13 points in 40 games. He has 82 penalty minutes, which is already a career high.
Tkachuk has six goals, 19 points, and 22 penalty minutes in 20 contests this campaign. He will play for Team USA at the Olympics in February.
