Buffalo Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin was handed a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding Philadelphia Flyers forward Trevor Zegras on Wednesday.

A scrum ensued immediately after the hit.

Here's another look at the initial play.

Zegras was down on the ice momentarily but was able to stay in the game. The 24-year-old has thrived during his first season in Philadelphia, leading the team with 26 points in as many games.

Dahlin has never been suspended in his eight-year NHL career.
