Golden Knights' Stone week-to-week with wrist injury
Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone is week-to-week with a wrist injury, head coach Bruce Cassidy announced Monday, according to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Stone left Saturday's win over the Calgary Flames after logging 13 minutes and was unable to return. He had four points in the game.
The 33-year-old is second in league scoring this season with 13 points, trailing only teammate Jack Eichel. Stone's recorded a point in each of Vegas' six games and has produced four multi-point efforts.
Stone has dealt with injuries throughout his career. He hasn't played 70 games in a single season since 2018-19, the year the Golden Knights acquired him from the Ottawa Senators.
The Golden Knights are atop the Pacific Division with a 4-0-2 record.
