Senators' Tkachuk could miss at least 4 weeks with wrist injury
Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk could be out at least four weeks with a wrist injury suffered in Monday's game against the Nashville Predators, head coach Travis Green told reporters Tuesday, including The Athletic's Julian McKenzie.
Tkachuk crashed into the boards after being hit by Roman Josi in the first period. After initially leaving the game, Tkachuk returned to log 13:53 in the contest, though he didn't play the final nine minutes of the 4-1 loss. Green said Tkachuk didn't aggravate the injury after returning to play.

Green added that the team will know more on Wednesday whether Tkachuk needs surgery.
Tkachuk has managed three assists in three appearances this season. He notched 29 goals and 55 points in 72 games last campaign, finishing 18th in Hart Trophy voting while captaining the Senators to their first playoff appearance since 2017. He also led the team in shots (296), hits (228), and penalty minutes (228).
The 26-year-old was one of six players named to the United States' Olympic team back in June, along with his brother, Matthew (who's also injured), Jack Eichel, Auston Matthews, Quinn Hughes, and Charlie McAvoy.
Team USA opens its tournament Feb. 12 against Latvia.
