The Colorado Avalanche signed forward Joel Kiviranta to a one-year contract on Friday, the team announced.
The deal is worth $1.25 million, according to PuckPedia. Colorado has approximately $2.09 million in remaining cap space.
Kiviranta has spent the past two seasons with the Avalanche but went unsigned after becoming an unrestricted free agent July 1.
The 29-year-old notched 23 points in 79 games in 2024-25 and was held off the scoresheet in Colorado's first-round loss to the Dallas Stars.
