Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart was unable to play in Saturday's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final because of a lower-body injury.

The 29-year-old winger is considered day-to-day, head coach Paul Maurice said. Jesper Boqvist entered the lineup in Reinhart's place.

Reinhart suffered the ailment from a hit by Sebastian Aho in Game 2 against the Carolina Hurricanes.

He's registered four goals and seven assists in 14 games this postseason. Reinhart paced the Panthers with 39 goals and 81 points during the regular season.

Boqvist hasn't played since Game 6 of Round 2 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He's tallied two points in nine games this postseason after potting a career-high 12 goals during the regular season.

The Panthers lead the series 2-0.
