Golden Knights' Dorofeyev day-to-day, will miss Game 6
The Vegas Golden Knights will be without Pavel Dorofeyev for Thursday's Game 6 against the Minnesota Wild, head coach Bruce Cassidy announced, according to The Athletic's Jesse Granger.
Cassidy added that Dorofeyev is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.
Dorofeyev, the Golden Knights' leading goal-scorer during the regular season, didn't play in overtime in Vegas' 3-2 win over the Wild in Game 5.
The 24-year-old winger enjoyed a breakout season in 2024-25, tallying a team-leading 35 goals in 82 games. He's managed a goal and an assist in five playoff contests.
Dorofeyev had been skating on Vegas' top line and No. 1 power-play unit. Mark Stone was promoted to the top line in his place, while Victor Olofsson took his spot on the power play at Thursday's morning skate.
The Golden Knights lead the series 3-2.
