Stars' Robertson week-to-week with lower-body injury
The Dallas Stars will begin their playoff run without Jason Robertson.
The Stars' leading goal-scorer is week-to-week with a lower-body injury suffered in Wednesday's regular-season finale, head coach Pete DeBoer announced Friday, per Lia Assimakopoulos of the Dallas News.
Robertson paced the Stars with 35 goals during the regular season and finished second on the team with 80 points. Mikael Granlund and Evgenii Dadonov flanked Roope Hintz - Robertson's usual center - during Friday's practice.
Robertson is the second key player that Dallas will be missing to begin the postseason. Top defenseman Miro Heiskanen may not be available through Round 1 due to a knee injury suffered in January.
The Stars begin their first-round series against the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday.
