The Edmonton Oilers are exploring the trade market for injured winger Evander Kane, reports Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

Kane's full no-movement clause shifted to a 16-team trade list Saturday, per PuckPedia.

The 33-year-old power forward is on long-term injured reserve and has yet to suit up this season. He was given a five-to-six month timeline in September after undergoing abdominal surgery. He also underwent knee surgery in January that was projected to require four-to-eight weeks of recovery time. The knee recovery forced Kane to pause rehab for his abdominal injury. It's unclear if he'll play this season.

Kane recorded 24 goals and 20 assists in 77 games last season and added eight points in 20 postseason contests.

He's under contract through next season with a $5.125-million cap hit.
