Red Wings sign Husso to 3-year contract after trade from Blues

The St. Louis Blues traded goaltender Ville Husso to the Detroit Red Wings for the 73rd pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, the team announced Friday.
Husso, a pending unrestricted free agent, signed a three-year contract with Detroit following the trade, the Red Wings announced.
His contract will carry an average annual value of $4.75 million, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
The 27-year-old netminder appeared in 40 games for the Blues in 2021-22, posting a 25-7-6 record with a .919 save percentage.
