Los Angeles Kings forward Quinton Byfield made his season debut against the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night after being recalled from the AHL.
Byfield, the second overall pick in the 2020 draft, skated in six games with the Kings last season. He suffered a fractured ankle during preseason action this year.
The 19-year-old played 11 games with the AHL's Ontario Reign this season, recording four goals and two assists. He joined fellow top prospects Arthur Kaliyev and Samuel Fagemo in the Kings' lineup.
