Sabres' Hall willing to listen to offers ahead of deadline
To nobody's surprise, Taylor Hall appears ready to get out of Buffalo.
The Sabres forward said after Thursday's 4-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins that he'd be willing to listen to any trade proposals ahead of the deadline, according to NHL.com's Wes Crosby.
Hall signed a one-year, $8-million contract with the Sabres in the offseason. The deal carries a full no-movement clause, so he controls his own destiny.
Many expected the 2017-18 Hart Trophy winner to form a dynamic duo with Jack Eichel under his former head coach with the Edmonton Oilers Ralph Krueger, but that hasn't come to fruition. Hall has registered just two goals and 15 assists over 32 games this season. Krueger was fired on March 17.
The Sabres, who have now lost 16 straight games, are obvious sellers ahead of the April 12 trade deadline.
