NHL announces schedule updates, Stars to open season Jan. 22 vs. Preds

The Dallas Stars will begin their season Jan. 22 at home against the Nashville Predators, the league announced Friday.
Dallas was supposed to begin its campaign Jan. 14 against the Florida Panthers before 17 Stars players tested positive for COVID-19 throughout training.
Five of the 10 games that have been rescheduled involve the Stars.
