Every Monday, theScore offers a weekly fantasy hockey column detailing a handful of moves you should make. This week's edition focuses on Week 15. Ownership percentages and position eligibility are courtesy of Yahoo.

Add Ilya Kovalchuk

Team: Canadiens
Position: LW/RW
Ownership: 24%

Kovalchuk has proven two things during his brief stint with the Montreal Canadiens:

  1. He still has more to give
  2. The Los Angeles Kings terribly misused him

The 36-year-old has recorded four points in four games with the Habs, including the overtime winner Saturday against the Ottawa Senators. He has registered 11 shots during those contests and is averaging nearly 20 minutes per night.

Montreal still has numerous injuries up front and is likely trying to showcase Kovalchuk for a potential deadline deal, so the veteran will continue to be featured heavily. However, he could once again become a role player if he's traded, so this may be his peak fantasy value.

Add an Islanders player

The New York Islanders play a league-high five games this week. So, if you're looking to stream a player, start with those on Long Island.

None of Anthony Beauvillier (10% owned), Josh Bailey (13%), Jordan Eberle (13%), or Derick Brassard (7%) are particularly hot right now, but it's worth adding at least one of them given the number of games they'll play. The same goes for defensemen Devon Toews (8%) and Nick Leddy (5%).

Buy low on Charlie McAvoy

Team: Bruins
Position: D
Ownership: 65%

McAvoy has the most shots (58) without a goal of any player in the league, so the Boston Bruins blue-liner could have some luck go his way in the second half.

The 22-year-old logs over 23 minutes per night and sees time with the second power-play unit, so the opportunities to produce are there.

It probably won't take much to pry away McAvoy, and a second half with potentially five-plus goals and 15-plus assists would make him a valuable asset to your team.

Add Aaron Dell

Team: Sharks
Position: G
Ownership: 12%

Perhaps Peter DeBoer's biggest mistake as San Jose Sharks head coach was continuing to hand the No. 1 goalie job to Martin Jones. Since Bob Boughner took over behind the bench, Jones has started just five games to Dell's nine (including five of the last six).

Dell has gone 5-3-1 with a 2.22 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage with that added workload. The Sharks are desperate to stay in the playoff hunt, so it's safe to assume Dell will continue to dominate time between the pipes if he maintains his impressive play, suddenly making him a valuable fantasy commodity.

Add Dominik Kubalik

Team: Blackhawks
Position: LW/RW
Ownership: 17%

Kubalik is one of the hottest players in the league. He's riding a four-game goal streak and has eight tallies and five assists in his last 11 contests. The Chicago Blackhawks rookie is beginning to come into his own and should be scooped up in all fantasy leagues.
