The top of the draft order will be determined one night before the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin.
The NHL's draft lottery will be held April 9 in Toronto, the league announced Wednesday.
It will be televised on Sportsnet, NBCSN, and TVA Sports during a one-hour show beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
Each non-playoff team's chances to claim the first overall selection will be determined, in reverse order, by which club has the fewest points. The odds for each ranking are listed below:
