Senators' Borowiecki to have hearing for hit on Golden Knights' Eakin

Ottawa Senators defenseman Mark Borowiecki will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday following an illegal check to the head of Vegas Golden Knights forward Cody Eakin.
The incident occurred in Sunday's contest at T-Mobile Arena.

Borowiecki was assessed a major penalty for charging and a game misconduct.
Sunday marked his return to action after serving a one-game suspension for elbowing Boston Bruins rookie Urho Vaakanainen.
