A goaltender interference ruling finally went the Edmonton Oilers' way.
The Los Angeles Kings thought they'd scored the tying goal in the final seconds Saturday night, but it was wiped out on a goalie inteference review.
Dustin Brown forced the puck over the line by pushing into Oilers goaltender Cam Talbot's pad.
A goal wasn't actually signaled in real time, but the officials reviewed the play after the final buzzer and determined it was in.
However, the war room in Toronto then initiated an automatic review for goaltender interference, after which the league ruled there was interference on the play, so the final call was "no goal."
It's the first challenge won by Todd McLellan as Oilers head coach, according to Sportsnet.
