Kings' Brown fined $10K for cross-check on Schultz

Los Angeles Kings forward Dustin Brown has avoided a suspension, but was fined $10,000 for his cross-check on Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Justin Schultz on Thursday, the Department of Player Safety announced.

Brown, who has been suspended once in his career, was ejected from the game following the hit while Schultz avoided injury.
