Backes day to day, won't play vs. Wild
@NHLBruins
Boston Bruins center David Backes won't be in the lineup Tuesday when the team takes on the Minnesota Wild due to a "minor issue," coach Claude Julien confirmed.
Backes has gotten off to a strong start with the Bruins, scoring four points in five games. The 32-year-old had been a member of the St. Louis Blues since 2006 before signing with the Bruins in the offseason.
