Blues' Nail Yakupov: Scores against old Oilers mates
Yakupov notched the Blues' lone goal in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Oilers.
Analysis:
Facing the team that drafted him first overall and developed (or, well, failed to develop) him, Yakupov opened the scoring with his second-period tally, which came on his only shot of the game. He's still averaging less than 12 minutes of ice time, which doesn't offer a ton of promise for future production despite the Russian's decent total of three points in five contests so far.
